Abstract

Morgellons disease is a distorted copy of the English “Morgellons”, which appeared in the domestic media in 2002. This medical term refers to a disease that American Mary Leitao discovered in her son. Manifestations are varied - the feeling of insects crawling under the skin, itching, non-healing scratching.
