Abstract

In the article, out of 140 patients with degenerative diseases of the lumbar vertebrae, treated and examined in the clinic, 33 patients were diagnosed with symptoms of spondylosis based on the results of CT and MRI studies. Patients with lumbar vertebral hernias underwent arcotomy, hemilaminectomy and discectomy. Macropreparations obtained during the operation were subjected to pathomorphological examination. Pathomorphological studies made it possible to identify the causes of changes in the brain, ligamentum flavum and vertebral bodies during the development of the disease.
