Abstract

This article substantiates the relevance of the problem of developing students’ critical thinking in modern higher education. The indicators and signs of the formation of students’ critical thinking are considered. The main criteria and levels of formation of critical thinking are determined. The results of the experimental work were also analyzed according to the relevant criteria. A comparative and mathematical-statistical analysis of the results was carried out in three higher education institutions of Uzbekistan.
