Abstract

Teaching English to primary school children needs resources that can help them both developmentally and linguistically. This article appraises the efficacy of The Kid's English course book in facilitating language acquisition and engagement at primary school level. It outlines key features of this book, which include age appropriateness of content, core language skills focus, and activity-based interactive lessons. It also deals with its advantages, such as increased student motivation and organized learning, and possible problems which can arise in the course of its application. Recommendations are given on how to use the course book to full advantage; the conclusion is that The Kid's English is a valuable tool for effective and enjoyable language learning among young learners.
