Abstract
The study evaluated achieving teachers’ job performance through school management team among public secondary schools in north east teachers’ job performance of region of Nigeria. The study utilized a mixed-methods methodology, incorporating both quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews and observations. The study sample consisted of a heterogeneous group of school administrators and teachers selected from various public secondary schools located in the North-east region of Nigeria. Structured questionnaires were utilized to collect quantitative data from school administrators and teachers. The study employed descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to investigate the associations between school management practices and teachers' job performance. The outcomes of this research will enhance comprehension regarding the strengths and weaknesses pertaining to school management and teacher performance within the North Central region of Nigeria. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights for policymakers, school administrators, and education stakeholders regarding potential areas for improvement in school management practices and the necessary support required to enhance teachers' job performance. The objective of this study is to promote evidence-based decision-making and the adoption of effective strategies for enhancing school improvement within the region.
